I thought that the fence and ocean backdrop looked cool behind the yellow bike i took a picture ofThese are just ten random art pages that my art teacher had assigned us to create individually. This is a collage of words that describe methis is dedicated to my Mor Mor The inspiration for this art piece came from the movie Grease. It resembles the movie\'s title.Wet Willie is one of the characters shown on the clothes from World Industries. He\'s the coolestThis is a representation of my Christian faithI think this is one of my better works. I really like the way it turned out. This is a drawing of someone pulling a wheelie in the air on a mountain bikeMonster Trophy truckThis is a picture of the sun during the California 2007 firestorm. I took it so it looked like creative photography.

This is a video hopefully it will explain itself.

This is a bench that me and two other students built. We first started with a scale drawing and measurements drawn to scale. After that we started building. We Built the whole bench in three hours. That includes sanding a extra details. We did not do a good job of painting it and hopefully we’ll repaint it. There is also a poster I created with details about the furniture.

In this project we designed and built roller coasters. With this project we studied to physics behind a roller coaster. An example would be how mass, friction, weight, speed, and velocity all apply to a roller coaster. I worked with a partner on this project and we named it TWISTER! because of its unique coiling design. The railing that the roller car rode on was made from copper tubing and the stand which held it up was made up from PVC tubing. I made a actual rolling cart rather than a marble. The roller car uses roller skate bearings to ride the rail with and a compartment made of Legos held some more bearings as weight. We also had a pulley with two chain links hanging from it as a back up car. Both the pulley and bearings car work perfectly. The weight became a huge factor to keep the coasters momentum throughout the track. Some re designing had to be done to make the rail balanced and keep the cars moving.

These are the art assignments in my art journal. I did all of these. Click on the gallery link to see my art.

This is my painting of Vince Lombardi. He was mostly famous footballl coaching and coaching the Green Bay Packers. He was mostly inspirational to me because of his quotes. One of my favorites is “Fatigue makes cowards out of all men.”

With this project we had to write a book. In this book the reader is able to choose “paths” to take in the book. The title of my group’s book is “Not So Normal”. The following is a link to the book http://hthnc.hightechhigh.org/~jjaskowiak/choose/mantle-1.png

img_0143.jpg In this project we had to build a instrument that played one musical octave (eight notes). Our instrument made sound with tubes. Sounds is made by our instrument when you hit the end of the tubes with ping pong paddles. We had to use formulas to find how long the tubes had to be and what note they would play. The note would get higher or lower depending on the length of the tube. A longer tube would produce a deeper note and a shorter tube would produce a higher note. Once we built our instrument we had to perform in front of the class.

In this project we had to define and present what we felt was the biggest part of Hispanic/Latino culture. I thought soccer was the biggest part of Hispanic/Latino culture.images-71.jpeg
